These 3-pound packages come with worker bees and 1 caged Queen with attendants. This is enough to start one beehive.
ABOUT OUR BEES
Our packages are Italian or Carniolan, sourced out of California. Queens will be Italian or Carniolan, according to package type, marked, mated, and proven. We are not able to guarantee your choice of breed, it is at the discretion of our supplier. All of our bees are certified to be free of Hive Beetle.
Queens are marked. Clipping option is not available.
HOW IT WORKS
We currently do not ship our bees. Instead, we offer pick-up at our family farm. The pick-up date is expected for the first week of April, subject to seasonal and supplier-related variables. Our farm pick-up date will be communicated to you once our delivery date is confirmed. Our staff will verify your packages are released to you in good condition and with a living queen, and we send you home with our best practices recommendations for placement in their new hive.

Failure to pick up packages and queens on the approved delivery date/time will result in the possible forfeiture of purchase. The purchaser agrees not hold liable Sasse's Apiary LLC, or any of its employees, for any problems that may occur before and/or following pick-up of order.
